Melissa's 7-hour coaching package, which takes writers step-by-step from inspiration to publication, offers the following:

  • interviews & quotes from experts--how & why to get them
  • line edits for grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • samples from published authors tailored to your style/topic
  • writing exercises to help with the revision process
  • how to locate and approach appropriate markets for publication, including magazines, newspapers, radio programs, and online media
  • how to work with editors before your piece goes to print
  • the use of art and photography to enhance publication
  • how to respond to readers, post-publication
  • how to promote  published work to build your platform
  • how to negotiate reprint rights for maximum income
  • how to spin one topic into numerous essays and articles
  • for published authors, how to use articles and essays to promote your books
The 7-hour coaching package includes three 40-minute phone conversations, meticulous editing of three drafts of your piece, e-mail support throughout the writing process, and numerous  documents designed to launch your career as a professional writer.  Cost is $160 for the package; $6/page for editing only.
